Paul and his family
	Paul Reynolds A smart 14 year old city boy, Paul is the hero of the Spellbinder series. Since his mother's death, Paul has become a bit of a loner and has trouble communicating with his family, particularly his hard working scientist father.
	Brian Reynolds Paul's widowed father. In his mid-thirties, He works at Magnetronih Inc. Brian is a talented scientist in charge of a private research and development laboratory. He is having difficulty reconciling his busy work life with the demands of being a single parent. Brian is shy around women and not good at communication, particularly about his feelings.
	Christine Reynolds Christine is a little sister of Paul. Sometimes she plays the computer game. She likes Gina and tries to make her as her new mother.

Alex and his family
	Alex Katsonis Alex is Paul's best friend. He admires Paul's intelligence and uses it to get through school. Alex is a cocky fast-talking teenager of Greek descent. Alex jokes his way through life, trying to do as little as possible. His aversion to schoolwork has kept him down a couple of years so he is older than most of the kids around him.
	Nick Katsonis Nick is Alex's brother. He works at garage but fired a month ago.
	Stavros Katsonis Stavros is Alex' father. He works at the port and carries container by electromagnetic lift.
	Mrs. Katsonis She is Alex' mother.

Katrina and her family
	Katrina Muggleton A girl in Paul's class. Fascinated by science, Katrina has a competitive relationship with Paul. Clever, determined and stubborn, she has always done well at school.
	Mrs. Muggleton She is Katrina's mother.
	Mr. Muggleton He is Katrina's father. His name is Scot, maybe.

Friends and Teachers
	Lisa Lisa is Katrina's friend. Once she believed the ghost and she was afraid of it.
	Nathan Jones He helps his father's radio store. He lends Alex radio equipments for a tape of Alex & Katrina's love talking. He will write love romance novels. Mr. Jones He is Nathan's father. Everlex Electronics Pty Ltd is his radio shop.
	Deana Muggdodle Katrina and Alex purchase Deana and Nathan to go to Mt. Lara. She required 50 bucks each.
	Skye Alex meets her at the leterature camp.
	Smithy? He is Alex' friend.
	Giannos? He is Alex' friend.
	Ms. Gibson A science teacher.
	Mr. Kennett He teaches Math at Paul's school. He likes sweets.

	Josie She is a homeless, she lost her parents. She lives in a warehouse at the port with her brother Ben. She draws pictures on the street and earns some money to live.
	Ben Ben is Josie's brother. He likes to play the Gameboy. He cannot read very well.
	Peter Eriksen He is an accountant. He get a memo from Josie and he comes to where she is.
	Gina She is a baby sitter for Paul Brian prepared. She likes hot shower and dance. Christine wants Gina to be her mother.

	Plicewoman2 She becomes aware that Paul is missing.
